The idea of Brigada Eyewear was first conceived in 2006 by Jim Greco, Andrew Reynolds, Terry Kennedy and myself. Since there were no skater owned and operated sunglass brands we all got together and thought, 'we all wear shades, why not start our own company.' Together we came up with the name BRIGADA, meaning a brigade or crew, sketched up a logo at the local diner and gathered up all of our ideas for things we would like to see made.
