Fresh Jive

FreshJive was started in 1989 by Los Angeles native, Rick Klotz. After starting out designing flyers for various clubs and bands in the 1980s Klotz switched mediums to pursue apparel design. As a talented graphic designer, drawing from such influences as hip hop, punk, surf/skate and art, Klotz went on to create an international following for his young brand early on. Often controversial, FreshJive is considered by most to be one of the original streetwear brands, and one that has stayed true to its roots.
